DIGITAL SIGNAGE

When the Kennedy Center’s upstairs atrium was converted into a museum space in the second half of 2022, my role at the center changed dramatically. Most notably, I learned how to design and export digital signage for the new 17,000+ pixel wrap-around screen. As my familiarity with the technology grew, I began extending my services to external clients on a freelance basis.

RIVER RUN

River Run is a yearly festival hosted at the Kennedy Center. I was asked to create a new piece of signage for the 2023 festival. The video centered around JFK’s 1963 conservation tour and features a string out of speeches he gave throughout the tour. I sourced images, videos, and created graphic elements to pull the layout together.

EXPORTED FILE

Below is a work in progress example of an exported file. The East and South sides of the room sit on top of the West and South sides as one single file. While this is not the final signage file, it does give a good idea of the final look.
